Blue Ridge Chapter Funding Needs

The National Multiple wants to do something about MS Now!  Our ambitious goal is to raise $1.25 billion by the end of 2010 to be used in the fight against MS. 

We have set bold goals for MS research in 2007.  Funding basic and clinical MS research is the key to unlock the mysteries of this devastating disease.  In 2007 the National MS Society has committed an unprecedented amount - $50 million to fund 380 new and ongoing MS investigations in the US and abroad.  The Blue Ridge Chapter contributed $320,000 to research in 2006, and our goal is to raise $360,000 in 2007 for MS research.  Your gift restricted to MS research can help us meet this goal.

While we search for a cure for MS, it is equally important that we provide help for people who have MS NOW.  

The Programs Department of the Blue Ridge Chapter has got a full schedule of services and programs planned for the coming year.  The staff offers a full array of resources and programs for people with MS, programs for people with MS and their families, professional education and training.  Your gift restricted to local programs can help insure that the Chapter can accomplish all that is planned for the coming year.
